    Equine Assisted Therapy

    Equine Assisted Therapy

Courtesy of BEAT-UK we are now able to offer equine therapy, an experiential experience that typically involves the use of ground activities where the individual applies a variety of skills. Through this process the individual learns about themselves and others during groundwork and processing (or discussing) feelings, behaviours, and patterns brought about from the exercise.

Examples of what Equine Assisted Psychotherapy or Equine Assisted Learning can focus on are:

    • Non-verbal communication
    • Assertiveness
    • Creative thinking
    • Problem solving
    • Leadership
    • Teamwork
    • Confidence

No experience is needed of horses to be able to participate. If you wish to know more, take a look under the ‘Outdoor Therapies’ tab where you will also be able to see a video explaining the process a little more.  Feel free to contact us if you have further questions or alternatively click on the ‘Book now’ button to book an initial consultation.
